THE CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON DEVELOPMENTAL EDUCATION
The mission of the Center for Research on Developmental Education is to help organizations that provide activity-based developmental education develop methods and procedures to document the important outcomes that result from these methods. These outcomes include self-regulation, collaborative problem-solving, social skills, self-knowledge, and character, all of which have been shown to essential predictors of success in life. The CRDE also advocates for wider understanding and acceptance of the developmental education practices. Finally, the CRDE works to forge mutually beneficial, collaborative relationships with researchers who share the centers goals.
