Mentoring for Primary (3-6) guides with Madlena Ulrich
Strengthening our Montessori Community
Welcome to a series of mentorship meetings for all practitioners working in Montessori Children’s Houses!
We all have experienced that the real work starts after graduation, that there are numerous questions you wish you would have asked your trainer and an abundance of situations you wish you could discuss with experts and colleagues. Now you have the possibility to do so!
The aim of our meetings is to strengthen our Montessori Community through lectures and discussions about common challenges we face while implementing the Montessori approach. Our goal is to learn and develop as a community, to fill our pedagogical toolbox with tips and tricks, and to learn from other’s experiences.
"I wish I had someone to discuss challenges I encounter during the year with."
"How can I establish a functional observation, record keeping and planning routines?"
"How do other guides implement Grace and Courtesy in the classroom? Is there a better way of addressing it?"
"My 3-6 training is now over but I wish I could still clarify a few things with the trainer."
Over the course of 7 sessions, we will:
- Discuss everyday problems with a Montessori expert
- Deep dive into topics that will develop your classroom practice and understanding of the child
- Receive tips from Madlena (+ fellow guides) and share your own good practice
- Equip your guide-toolbox for the smooth running of the class
