Do you recognize this in your classroom?
You may value art deeply, but in the flow of the Montessori day it often feels secondary.
- Art feels like something extra, not fully integrated into the work cycle.
- You are unsure how to offer art in a way that supports independence and concentration.
- Managing materials, space, and order around art feels overwhelming.
This workshop will help you understand how art can become a natural and meaningful part of the child’s work.
Workshop Takeaways:
- Learn how to prepare spaces that invite independent artistic exploration
- Understand how to connect art with concentration and purposeful activity
- Gain insight into supporting creativity across both age groups (3–6 and 6–12)
Real-world stories and situations we will work through
- How to move beyond isolated “art projects” into meaningful daily practice
- How art supports the connection between the child’s inner life and their work
- Reflection on real classroom experiences across 3–6 and 6–12
For those looking for deeper practical application, this workshop connects to a follow-up AMI Refresher focused on concrete classroom strategies.
Who It Is for:
- Montessori Guides and Assistants (3–6 and 6–12)
- Art specialists working within Montessori environments
- Parents and homeschoolers who want to support authentic creative expression
