Do you recognize this in your classroom?

You may value art deeply, but in the flow of the Montessori day it often feels secondary.

  • Art feels like something extra, not fully integrated into the work cycle.
  • You are unsure how to offer art in a way that supports independence and concentration.
  • Managing materials, space, and order around art feels overwhelming.

This workshop will help you understand how art can become a natural and meaningful part of the child’s work.

What this workshop is really about:

In many Montessori classrooms, art becomes a scheduled activity.

But art in Montessori is far more than that!

Through art, children respond to a deep spiritual need to create, to express, and to connect with the world around them.

In both Primary (3–6) and Elementary (6–12) environments, art can become a bridge between the child’s inner life and their daily work.

This workshop explores how to move beyond isolated “art projects” and instead prepare an environment where art is naturally woven into the Montessori work cycle.
