Meet your trainers

Mirka and Plamena Koleva

Mirka is the Founder and Chief Enthusiasm Officer of Montessori Institute Prague. Since 2010 Mirka fundraised 1.8 million EUR in Erasmus and other EU funding. She has extensive experience writting successful grant applications as well as running and coordinating granted projects. 

Plamena is the Erasmus Manager in Montessori Institute Prague. She has written 5 successful large Erasmus grant applications. Currently she oversees running of two Erasmus projects awarded to MIP, The Bilingual Project and Family Support Project. Since she has been with MIP, she has worked on creating a network of schools and Montessori organisations wishing to co-write Erasmus grant applications together.

  • Discover the fundamentals of grants and their potential for Montessori
  • Identify specific grant funding opportunities available for education
  • Master the techniques to locate and evaluate potential grant funders
  • Develop the skills to select grant calls that match your needs
  • Craft your own tailored grant proposal from scratch
  • Compose a real grant application to practice your new skills

Frequently Asked Questions

Will sessions be recorded and provided for replay?

Yes, recordings of the program will be published in a private Schoology channel in our digital learning platform accessible only to mentoring program participants. Recordings will be available until August 31, 2024.

Will there be an opportunity to ask questions in between sessions?

Yes, your trainers will be happy to answer any urgent questions on Schoology where you can also share materials and inspiration with your fellow classmates. Otherwise there will of course be a designated time for your questions during the sessions.

Will there be an opportunity to remain a community of learners after the cohort is over?

Yes. Interested participants will have a chance to share information with each other and stay connected after the series is over if they so choose.
