Learning With Heidi Philippart

The course is led by Heidi Philippart, AMI 0–3 Trainer.

Heidi lives in Amsterdam, where she serves as Pedagogical Director of the Montessori bilingual preschool 2Voices.

She has been training Montessori teachers internationally and is known for her clarity, calm presence, and deep understanding of infant development.

Her training emphasizes:

• careful observation
• respect for the child’s natural development
• preparing environments that support independence
• the role of the adult as a thoughtful, stable guide

Before deciding, you may wish to experience Heidi’s teaching directly:

The Montessori Perspective You Will Develop

Many students describe the training as a profound shift in perspective.

During the course you will learn to:

  • Observe infants and toddlers with precision and patience
  • Understand how independence begins from the earliest months of life
  • Prepare environments that support movement, language, and emotional development
  • Support development through observation rather than control
  • Integrate Montessori pedagogy with current medical and developmental knowledge

For many students, the training changes not only their professional work but also how they see children, learning, and human development itself.

Studying in Prague

Two modules of the course take place onsite in Prague, one of Europe’s most accessible and student-friendly capitals.

PRAGUE OFFERS AND IDEAL BALANCE FOR FOCUSED STUDY:
