AMI Global School Accreditation: pilot report
Since the start of 2026, AMI has entered the second pilot phase of its new AMI Global School Accreditation program. Montessori Institute Prague is honored to be one of the first five Authorised Accrediting Agencies in the world.
In this 30 minute talk we share the results of the first pilot round of AMI Global School Accreditation (GSA), led by Montessori Institute Prague. Across twelve monthly meetings from March 2025 to June 2026, the first group of schools from the Czech Republic, Romania and Lithuania worked through the whole GSA framework: four areas of quality, the standards, and a self study supported by group coaching.
We will show what the process looks like in practice, what the schools discovered about themselves along the way, and what the pilot means for the wider Montessori community on the path to the full program launch.

Who you will meet
Sue Pritzker joins us for questions of governance and school leadership. Mirka Vlckova and Hana Trejklova host and facilitate the series, so the space stays consistent and never depends on one voice alone.
Sue was a primary teacher and administrator at Marin Montessori School before becoming Head of School at Childpeace Montessori in Portland, Oregon in 1987. She grew the school from 45 to 360 students and retired from that position in July 2020. Sue is an AMI trainer on the AMI Montessori School Leadership Course and a trainer with Whole School Leadership, a primary level consultant with AMI-USA, and a founding member of the Montessori Administrators Association, Montessori Leaders Collaborative and Lead Montessori.
Mirka Vlckova first encountered Montessori when her youngest son was born. Despite having no formal training, financial resources, or external support, she was determined to bring Montessori education to her child. Starting with a volunteer mother's group, she successfully established a Montessori kindergarten and elementary school, followed by an international Montessori teacher training center, and later an adolescent farm program.
Hana is a school leader and strategist with years of experience as a principal in Montessori education. She focuses on building strong teams, clear systems, and environments where Montessori principles are lived consistently in daily practice. Her work centers on aligning people, processes, and vision, helping schools grow into stable, authentic communities where both adults and children can thrive.
What each session looks like
Every call runs for two hours and follows the same rhythm, so you always know what to expect and can drop in around your day.

A space to bring a real problem and get honest help from people who understand your world.

Members are invited to occasionally present their own case studies, so the community learns from each other.

Ten calls, once a month, always on a Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Prague time.
All times are 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Prague time. From October to March that is CET (UTC+1), from April to September CEST (UTC+2). Speakers are chosen from what the community asks for, so the topics grow with the group.
