About the workshop

For purpose, dignity, and independence throughout life.

Montessori for Dementia is more than an activity program. It is a philosophy that transforms the culture of care. By focusing on each person's strengths, interests, and retained abilities, caregivers can create environments where people living with dementia experience greater independence, purpose, and joy.

Drawing on Montessori principles and more than a decade of experience adapting them for dementia care, Carolyn shares practical examples, inspiring stories, and immediately applicable strategies that help transform everyday care into meaningful experiences.
