Behavioral Challenges in the Montessori Classroom

Practical strategies with Dr. Silvia C. Dubovoy, for guides and assistants working with children 3-6

Understand the child first, then decide how to respond.

When a child withdraws, wanders, has an intense reaction, or struggles to begin an activity, the behavior may have many possible reasons. Dr. Silvia C. Dubovoy explores how careful observation can help Montessori educators understand a child's strengths and needs.
