Do you recognize this in your work?

You may care deeply about your work, but it increasingly comes at a cost to your energy and well-being.

  • You feel responsible for more than is realistically sustainable
  • It is difficult to switch off or step back, even when exhausted
  • You want to keep giving, but feel your capacity is shrinking
  • Boundaries feel unclear or difficult to maintain
  • You are committed, but something is not working long-term

This workshop will help you find a way to continue your work without losing yourself in it.

What this workshop is really about:

In education and caregiving professions, burnout is not simply about working too much.
It often comes from caring deeply in systems that place constant demands on your time, attention, and emotional capacity.

But stepping away is not always an option.

This workshop explores how to remain engaged in meaningful work while developing a more sustainable way of being within it.

You will look at burnout realistically, without simplifying or minimizing it, and begin to clarify what is truly yours to carry and what is not.

This workshop is for those who want to stay, but need a different way to do so.

Why this workshop matters

Teacher stress in Europe is not a small issue

Across Europe, stress is not only a personal experience. It is also connected to whether teachers feel able to stay in the profession over time.

18%

experience stress “a lot”

In EU countries and economies participating in TALIS, 18% of teachers report experiencing stress in their work “a lot”.

25%

would like to leave teaching

In the same EU TALIS group, 25% of teachers say they would like to leave teaching within the next five years.

higher likelihood of wanting to leave

Teachers in the EU who experience stress at work “a lot” are two times more likely to want to leave teaching in the next five years.

Almost 50% of lower secondary teachers across Europe report stress at work “quite a bit” or “a lot”.
