A space where Montessori leaders bring real questions and support each other.
A community, not just a meeting
Leaders of Montessori organizations and the people building Montessori schools are essential to the strength of the whole Montessori movement. These calls exist to support that work and to keep us close to one another.
- Support your leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, so running a Montessori school feels less lonely and more possible.
- Build and sustain a community of like minded people who understand the reality of leading a Montessori school.
- Open a space for conversation, sharing, learning and mutual support, month after month.
- Grow stronger together in quality and in the ability to make Montessori accessible and sustainable at the same time.
- Make Montessori Institute Prague your first place to turn to when you need support.

Preparing the leader: From vision to intentional action
Strategic clarity. Leadership presence. The capacity to lead.
Leading a Montessori school means constantly balancing vision with everyday reality. It requires the ability to hold direction, make intentional choices, respond to complexity, and create the conditions in which both people and the organisation can grow.
In this 30 minute talk, Hanka will invite school leaders to step out of daily operations and look at their own leadership from a wider perspective. Through reflection, practical tools, and strategic questions, we will explore what helps a leader remain clear, grounded, and intentional, even when the demands of school life are constant.
The session will offer space to reconsider how we use our attention, how we understand our role, and how we prepare ourselves to lead not only what is happening today, but also what the organisation is becoming.
Participants will leave with practical ideas and questions they can immediately bring back into their own leadership practice.
What you will take away
- A wider perspective on your own leadership, beyond the daily operations.
- Practical tools and strategic questions to stay clear, grounded and intentional.
- A better sense of where your attention goes, and where it should.
- Ideas and questions to bring straight back into your own leadership practice.

Who you will meet
Mirka Vlckova and Hana Trejklova host and facilitate the series together, so the space stays consistent and never depends on one voice alone.

Mirka Vlckova first encountered Montessori when her youngest son was born. Despite having no formal training, financial resources, or external support, she was determined to bring Montessori education to her child. Starting with a volunteer mother's group, she successfully established a Montessori kindergarten and elementary school, followed by an international Montessori teacher training center, and later an adolescent farm program.

Hana is a school leader and strategist with years of experience as a principal in Montessori education. She focuses on building strong teams, clear systems, and environments where Montessori principles are lived consistently in daily practice. Her work centers on aligning people, processes, and vision, helping schools grow into stable, authentic communities where both adults and children can thrive.
