Do you recognize this in your environment?

You may value outdoor time deeply, but it can still feel separate from the Montessori work cycle.

  • Outdoor time feels like something extra, not fully integrated into the prepared environment.

  • You want more purposeful outdoor work, but need ideas that align with Montessori principles.

  • Managing space, freedom, and materials outdoors can feel overwhelming.

This workshop will help you understand how the outdoors can become a natural and meaningful part of the child’s work.

What this workshop is really about:

The outdoor environment is an essential extension of the Montessori prepared environment.

For children aged 0–6, it offers unique opportunities for movement, independence, sensory exploration, concentration, and connection with nature.

In this workshop, we will explore how to prepare outdoor spaces with purpose and intention, so that Practical Life, Language, Art, Sensorial, and Movement can naturally continue beyond the classroom walls.
